BallieBallerson

Right, so Cilla and I were gifted 2 tickets to BallieBallerson as a Christmas gift from my older sister. So we decided to take a trip up to Stoke Newington.

Booking a slot took some legwork and involved a lot of emails back and forth but finally we managed to get a slot for 9pm on a Thursday evening. Not ideal considering we both had work the next day but we powered through like the rebels we are lol!

A 50-minute journey, a few shots of Ciroc (Red Berry of course) and we were ready to see what the fuss was about. When we got there, we was expecting to be met by huge colourful ball pit but instead was met by a rather dark and dingy bar. However this didn’t stop us, and the drinking continued as with the tickets we had it included 2 complimentary Oreo shooters. After a quick glimpse of the drinks menu we couldn’t help ourselves but to get one of the 90’s inspired cocktails.

Alcohol fuelled and we were ready to take on the 200k balls in the chest high underground ball pit. We spent about 15 minutes in there. Straight away Ses was in his element, me on the other hand, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified. It literally felt like I was drowning whenever I fell in.

The ball pit extravaganza was short lived and we went back upstairs to the bar. Social Surfer Ses came out and he became besties with the bar man (his usual antics when we go out). We spent the last hour having drunken chats and a few more drinks with the bar man and then it was last call!

Overall we had a fun filled evening and would defo recommend a trip to BallieBallerson even though we spent most of our time in the bar as opposed to the main attraction, being the ball pit.
